I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Professional Addictions Diploma from McMaster University, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on Criminology from the University of Guelph. I have also completed specialized training in anger management, ADHD, anxiety treatment, and SMART Recovery facilitation.
Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I spent 20 years in the financial industry, holding leadership and coaching roles, which provided valuable insights into workplace stress, performance pressures, and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally competent—grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I work with clients to integrate their values, culture, and lived experiences into therapy, helping them build resilience, balance, and a greater sense of well-being.
